EasyCycle required the design of an indoor bike storage solution and a complementary design to promote cycling. They wanted a product that could be used by people of all abilities, including those with limited mobility, and a design that encourages cycling as a sustainable transport option.
The first design, a bike rack, focuses on accessibility for people with mobility challenges. Made from recycled plastic for durability and lightweight handling, it has a raised wheel entry and stable base so bikes can be fitted easily. The simple, geometric shapes communicate reliability and strength while keeping the design approachable for indoor spaces such as offices, schools, or community centers.
A complementary poster focused on sustainability, targets environmentally minded people and encourages them to consider cycling as a practical and eco-friendly transport option. Bold colours, clear typography, and a central image of a bike make the message immediately clear and motivating. Together, these designs respond to EasyCycle’s goals by providing a practical solution for accessibility and promoting cycling as a sustainable choice.
