My series of digital artworks were inspired by the work of Australian photographer, Simon Terrill and his investigations into 'Crowd Theory,' documenting how humans express themselves and interact in their environments. In Units 3&4, I created my own investigation into urban and natural environments, exploring how these environments shape our mindsets and perception of the world around us.
In my Units 3 collection ‘The Urban’, I focused on the overlap between artificial and natural environments, immersing viewers in a nostalgic and dream-like landscape, visualising aspects of our past, present and future of our society based on these relationships.
My Unit 4 collection ‘In a Day’ built upon the ideas developed in ‘The Urban’, exploring and visualizing how the environments and experiences we immerse ourselves constantly influence our mixed identity and shaping our complex perspectives on the world.
