Passing

1 - 3 | Digital video still

4 - 6 | Digital video

My artworks are digital videos. I have explored different elements of this medium, experimenting with filming and editing techniques. My first two finals are mostly looking at city spaces. In the final one, I explored different modes of transport, gradually increasing in size, with audio of smaller human moments playing and becoming more distant. The final two use split screens to consider the contrast between manmade spaces, the natural world, and the destruction caused as the two converge. My last final, ‘Passing’, is quite different from the other two. I used more abstract images to explore ideas of death, memories, and a sort of transcendence.
