This year, I worked on a design project for Inez's Garden, a fictional independent plant nursery in North Melbourne. The project involved creating a magazine cover and contents page for their informative journal and a logo promoting the nursery and its sustainable ethos. I drew inspiration from North Melbourne's architecture and gardens, translating the nursery's plant offerings into watercolour and digital illustrations, aligning with the client's selective aesthetics. After careful selection, I refined the designs, adjusting the scale and introducing patterns. The final cover and contents page designs beautifully conveyed the client's products and values with a natural look. The distinctive logo design was meant to stand out in North Melbourne's eclectic nature. It elegantly bridged the gap between the magazine's organic layout and the urban setting, combining geometric typography. I believe I conceived a rather attractive set of visuals that eloquently responds to Inez's idea for her business.
