ANTAI, an educational non for-profit organization located in Melbourne, sought a solution to the lack of education surrounding the use and detriments of generative AI. ANTAI value transparency and circular practice, especially when highlighting the environmental impacts of using generative AI. The target audience is people of any gender aged 14-20 who have ties to the art community, whether it be movie watchers or art enjoyers, or artists themselves.
The vibrant poster utilizes contrast and shape to convey human creativity as superior to Generative AI, inspired by old comic book screen tones and 1950's diner aesthetic styles the design presents human creativity as a bright, fire like energy that exudes life in comparison to the cold screens below it. A lineless style further emphasizes the use of colour, aided by the use of digital drawing on Photoshop.
The Interactive Experience design aimed to feature as a core part of ANTAI's website, offers facts and information on the use of generative AI in an easy to navigate way. The design is controlled by the audience tracing along a faint line, uncovering shapes and icons as they mimic a drawing-like action, so information can be viewed at the audiences preferred pace, whilst taking part in the process of drawing firsthand. The design uses cool toned colours to express the emphasis on the environmental impacts of Generative AI, and sticks to a relatively corporate style whilst still having handcrafted elements such as the background paper texture, to appeal to the young adult audience. This design was created in both Photoshop and Figma to ensure that it scales well to both desktop and mobile screens for cross compatibility.
