My artwork depicts cats living in harmony with humans. I utilised the golden ratio in the compositions, placing a cat as the subject and depicting it through spiralling outlines. Colour transitions from warm to cool, as one moves from left to right, striving for balance so that each colour hue occupies roughly the same proportion. Warm tones, especially oranges dominates the background to create a tonal atmosphere. The cat is rendered in black with additional colours in its fur to provide contrast against the bright background and variations in these colours help highlight relationships between light and shadow.
